Celebrating the Birth of Maryada Purushottam Lord Sri Ram

ISKGOD FOUNDATION

4/5/20252 min read

On the auspicious day of Sri Ram Navami, we joyfully celebrate the appearance of Lord Sri Ram, the embodiment of dharma, truth, compassion, and righteous leadership. Born on the ninth day of Chaitra month (as per the Hindu calendar), Lord Ram descended into this world to restore balance, protect the virtuous, and guide humanity with His divine example.

🌞 The Divine Appearance

Lord Ram, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu, took birth in the royal palace of Ayodhya to King Dasharath and Queen Kaushalya. Yet, His greatness lay not in His royal status but in the humility, sacrifice, and unwavering adherence to dharma that He displayed throughout His life—be it in exile, during the rescue of Mother Sita, or while ruling as the ideal king.

🕊️ Ram Rajya – An Inspiration for Our Seva

At ISKGOD Foundation, we draw deep inspiration from the ideals of Ram Rajya—a society where truth prevails, no one goes hungry, and every being is respected and protected. Our work with abandoned Gomatas, underprivileged children, and rural communities is a humble step toward that divine vision.

Just as Lord Ram never turned away from those in need—from the vanaras to the tribals—our Foundation aims to serve every soul with compassion, dignity, and divine love.

🐄 Seva with the Spirit of Sri Ram

Lord Ram's life was filled with acts of seva and humility. He served His parents, honored saints like Rishi Vishwamitra, protected Mother Sita, and uplifted even the most neglected beings.

In the same spirit, we serve destitute cows, hungry children, and rural women, believing that true worship of Sri Ram lies in loving His creation. Through our campaigns like “Adopt a Cow, Save a Cow,” and “Prasadam Seva,” we celebrate the divine message of selfless service.

📿 How You Can Join in Ram Navami Seva:

📖 Jai Sri Ram: A Mantra of Courage and Compassion

As we chant “Jai Sri Ram”, let it not just be a slogan, but a way of life—a call to uphold truth, protect the weak, and walk the path of righteousness, no matter how difficult it may seem.

May this divine day fill your heart with devotion, determination, and divine purpose.

From all of us at ISKGOD Foundation, we wish you a blessed and blissful Sri Ram Navami.
Let us unite in seva, inspired by the ideal servant-king: Bhakta Ram.
